Introduction to bee-handling course

This is an opportunity for inexperienced bee keepers to gain confidence and knowledge about handling bees in a small group of two or three with the guidance of an experienced bee keeper.

Bear in mind that weather conditions are important for this program so telephone alterations may have to be made. Please make sure that you bring your beekeeping protective clothes, smoker, and hive tools, if you have them.

This initiative of the Woodend Bee-Friendly Society is being offered to those who are financial members of the Macedon Ranges Sustainability Group. There will be no cost for the course. If you are not yet a member of the Macedon Ranges Sustainability Group you can register at http://mrsgonline.org.au/get-involved/join-mrsg/

To facilitate organization, email David Gormley-O’Brien on woodendbees@gmail.com by Monday 25th September.
